Layer upon layer of black net, cut to let one shock of fuchsia escape.
Built from many layers of fine black tulle floating over a bright fuchsia underskirt, the colour reveals itself only at the hem and in motion — a flash, then gone. The elasticated waistband sits at the natural waist with no zips and no fastenings, so the skirt is pulled on rather than fastened into.
It falls to mid-calf and holds a full, round silhouette without a stiff underskirt propping it up. Worn with the cardigan thrown open, a plain black tee, and a heel, it reads considered rather than costumed.
Made in counted runs of a few dozen. Restocks are never promised, and never in the same colourway twice.
The construction is deliberately simple so the volume does the talking — no boning, no crinoline, no hardware. Only weight, layer, and colour.
